Anton Leyland, the new Chef at Kermadec has certainly made his mark with great reviews

There has been a pleasing buzz about Kermadec in the media this month – particularly Kermadec Fine, with Anton Leyland’s menu starting to win some heady praise from foodies and food writers.

See these links for some of the reviews already published:

  • Omnomnom’s interview with the very talented Anton Leyland, here
  • Hosponews’ review of Kermadec Fine written by Cynthia Daly, here
  • Unscrewed editor Jayson Bryant’s review of Kermadec Fine, here
  • And in Metro’s latest edition: Jesse Mulligan gave Anton Leyland’s dishes at Kermadec Fine a great revue: “The tuna tartare is out of this world… The gurnard’s incredible too… Confit duck is cooked with European precision then served with Asian flavours, bok choy and textures of rice like you’ve never seen before.”

A great reward for a big effort Anton! Keep up the good food!
