Chefs Sharpened and Ready to Cook at the 2014 Waikato Food and Wine Festival
This year’s Waikato Food and Wine Festival is shaping up to be the most delicious yet, with the biggest line-up of chefs in the Festival’s history.
From local foodies, to world-renowned chefs and even a Masterchef confirmed to take to the Kitchen Things Cooking Theatre, there is plenty to whet your appetite.
We are excited to have world-renowned chef Paul Jobin involved in 2014. Paul was previously Executive Chef at Kauri Cliffs Lodge, and has had a glittering career which has seen him take his bold flavours and Asian-inspired cuisine to such cities as Sydney, Bratislava and Prague (to name but a few!).
A highlight for Festival goers this year is undoubtedly Masterchef New Zealand 2013 Winner (and sourdough devotee) Aaron Brunet. Aaron will be presenting dishes from his upcoming cookbook, and his ability to lift a simple dish to a culinary masterpiece makes him a fantastic addition to the Kitchen Things Cooking Theatre.
There are also plenty more reasons to get involved, with food writers, local chefs and food producers as well as some of the region’s best wineries coming together to create a Summer event that’s not to be missed.
